Tswelopele ADR is a 100% black-owned, multi-racial, multilingual organisation dedicated to excellence and transformation in dispute resolution. By joining our panel, you gain access to specialised sectors such as family law, commercial disputes, RAF, mining, labour, cyber law, and international arbitration, allowing you to broaden your professional impact.
We provide technology-driven case management, reporting tools, multilingual service delivery, and continuous professional development, giving our panel members the resources to work efficiently and grow their expertise. Most importantly, you will be part of our mission to make justice accessible to all, in every language, while building your profile within a respected and future-focused network.
Step-by-Step Membership & Accreditation Process
STEP 1: Apply for Associate Membership
Start your journey with Tswelopele ADR:
• Complete the online Associate Membership Application Form
• Submit your supporting documents (ID, qualifications, training certificates)
• Pay the non-refundable application fee of R850
• Gain access to our training programmes, webinars, and mentorship network
STEP 2 : Accreditation Evaluation Once your application is received, our Accreditation Panel will:
• Evaluate your mediation training, qualifications, and experience
• Review your alignment with national standards, including the Judge President’s directive and Annexure A of the Gauteng Mediation Protocol
• Assess your readiness for court-annexed and professional mediation practice
STEP 3: Full Membership Confirmation If your accreditation is approved:
• You will be invited to upgrade to Full Membership
• Pay only the balance of R1,650 (R2,500 total less R850 already paid)
• Receive formal recognition as a Tswelopele ADR Accredited Mediator
• Be listed on our national panel and published on our website
What If You Don’t Yet Qualify?
If your current credentials do not meet our standards:
• We’ll guide you through a tailored development pathway, which may include:
o Additional training modules
o Supervised practice or mentorship
o Roleplay-based competency assessments
• You will remain an Associate Member, with full access to:
o CPD programmes
o Peer mentoring and observation opportunities
o Invitations to exclusive webinars and sector briefings
